A related question outside this PR: `HiveTypeUtils.generateTypeInfoWorker` still maps these unions to Hive `uniontype<...>` (`getNonNullType()` leaves a `UNION`, which goes to `generateUnionTypeInfo`), and `HiveHoodieReaderContext.setSchemas` writes that into `LIST_COLUMN_TYPES` for Hive/MR reads. Now that sync registers the same columns as `struct<member0:...>`, could you check whether a Hive/MR read of such a column works, and open a follow-up issue if it doesn't?
