After pulling the lastest `master` and running @nmukerje example again on an emr cluster, turns out it is now behaving in the same manner as 0.7.0, the delete is being honored and also we do not have to specify `hoodie_is_deleted` for existing records. Will close the issue soon after adding some unit tests to `TestCOWDataSource` and `TestMORDataSource` to test the functionality of `hoodie_is_deleted` following a similar scenarios as the examples provided by @nsivabalan and @nmukerje -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
