Hey @OneCricketeer Gateway API is not needed for this issue. The current problem looks limited to nginx-specific examples and wording in the Helm chart docs/comments, not a missing networking feature. The chart already supports a controller-neutral Ingress configuration through className and annotations, so a minimal fix can remove the nginx-specific assumptions without introducing a new API surface. Gateway API may be a good longer-term direction, but that would be a separate feature. For #2932, I think the right scope is to keep the chart ingress guidance controller-neutral and update the documented/commented examples accordingly. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
