If the issue explains it well, a one-liner is fine. --> On non-Linux platforms, `ShardInfo::bind_cpu` and `bind_memory` are no-ops, triggering Clippy's `unused_self` and `unnecessary_wraps` lints. ## What changed? <!-- 2-4 sentences. Polling during this window found neither journal nor disk data. The fix freezes journal batches in the in-flight buffer before async persist."
