The Rust client has `ClusterClient::get_cluster_metadata` (`core/common/src/traits/cluster_client.rs`), which returns the cluster metadata, including node information, roles and status. The Python SDK has no method for it. It is row 9 of the tracking issue #3893. ## What to do - Add `ClusterMetadata` and `ClusterNode` wrappers (`core/common/src/types/cluster/`), following `Stats` in `foreign/python/src/stats.rs`, and register them in `foreign/python/src/lib.rs`. - Add `get_cluster_metadata` to `foreign/python/src/client.rs`, following `get_stats`. - Regenerate `foreign/python/apache_iggy.pyi` by running `cargo run --bin stub_gen` from `foreign/python` and letting the ruff hooks format it. CI fails if the stub is out of date. - Add `foreign/python/tests/test_cluster.py`, following `test_stats.py`. ## Done when `await client.get_cluster_metadata()` returns the connected node with its role and status against a running server, and the tests pass. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
