## Summary CreatePartitions (37) is not served. Iggy has `create_partitions` (`core/common/src/traits/partition_client.rs`). Who hits it: `kafka-topics --alter --partitions`, AKHQ and kafka-ui, the Strimzi Topic Operator, Spring Cloud Stream `autoAddPartitions`, and Terraform. Terraform uses Sarama 1.46, which sends the key anyway, so the gateway closes its connection. MirrorMaker 2 blocks forever on records for new source partitions. ## Scope - [ ] CreatePartitions v0-3 through Iggy `create_partitions`. Like Kafka, only grow a topic - [ ] `validate_only` and an error per topic.
