closing as fixed by #4152: the runtime now reads the `consume` status, and a failed batch is logged and counted as an error instead of as processed. redelivery came with #4734 as an opt-in (`[delivery] guarantee = "at_least_once"`, only the HTTP sink so far). the rest of the sink delivery work is tracked in #4232 and #4236. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
