@wmedvede @ricardozanini @tchughesiv changes made to logic so that
`persistence: nil` in the workflow CR will instruct the operator to derive the
persistence from the platform, if it exists. If `persistence: {}`, the operator
will not include any persistence in the workflow. I've also added a new e2e
scenario to cover for this last scenario.
If you have no more concerns, I suggest to merge this PR.
