After a few tests I've done lately, I noticed that the devmode and builder images might bring unnecessary dependencies to the classpath. For example, the builder creates Kubernetes manifests while building the application. This is not desirable since the builder image doesn't need to generate any kind of manifests. This issue aims to review the devmode and builder images to harden their structure and make it slimmer by bringing only the necessary components for the workflow to run within the platform context. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
