### Description ## Current Behavior The project currently relies on Maven for its build lifecycle, resulting in slow, sequential builds and prolonged CI execution times. ## Proposed Feature Migrate the build system from Maven to Gradle to leverage parallel execution capabilities, caching improvements, and faster overall CI performance. ## Expected Benefits * Enable parallel task execution to significantly reduce build times. * Improve developer experience and local build feedback loops. * Optimize CI pipeline execution efficiency on Apache KIE workflows. ### Implementation ideas ## Implementation Ideas 1. Evaluate current Maven plugins and dependencies to identify Gradle equivalents (e.g., using Gradle plugins for code generation, compilation, and testing). 2. Create initial `build.gradle` / `settings.gradle` configurations for root and sub-projects. 3. Set up parallel execution flags (`org.gradle.parallel=true`) and configure build caching. 4.
