### Why Pre-commit has been failing on `main` since #1497: `trailing-whitespace` flags the new Books/Talks and Reference Reading pages. ### How Applied the hook fix only, no content change: - Strip trailing whitespace from 5 lines each in `docs/learning/books-tutorials-and-talks.md` and `docs/learning/reference-reading.md`, plus their `website/versioned_docs/version-0.6/` copies. These are single stray spaces, not Markdown hard line breaks (which need two or more), so the rendered pages don't change.
