Though the workaround might be good for experienced users, we cannot control the environment in which mxnet runs for pip users. Thus, I'm still leaning towards the way @cjolivier01 proposed above if possible. Do you mind sharing more on the dependencies of mklml to help figure out the feasibility of static-linking?
