ThomasDelteil commented on issue #11120: Address already in use during tutorial test URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/issues/11120#issuecomment-393958749 the `linger` variable is hard coded in the `kernelapp.py`, if we don't want to use this technique then we need to assign deterministic ports that are different from each other and update the config file of the python notebook between run.
