JiaxiangBU commented on issue #10791: Unable to install mxnet in R 3.5.0 URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/issues/10791#issuecomment-432938469 Hi @anirudhacharya, I tried this code, and the command told me to reinstall it. ``` $ brew install openblas Updating Homebrew... ==> Auto-updated Homebrew! Updated 3 taps (homebrew/cask-versions, homebrew/core and homebrew/cask). ==> New Formulae shellz ==> Updated Formulae advancecomp evince imagemagick@6 pdfpc tippecanoe arangodb grafana jbake planck vault ark httpd minizinc skafos bluepill imagemagick node-build terraform-docs Warning: openblas 0.3.3 is already installed and up-to-date To reinstall 0.3.3, run `brew reinstall openblas` ``` Here is the result of re-installation. ``` brew reinstall openblas ==> Reinstalling openblas ==> Downloading https://homebrew.bintray.com/bottles/openblas-0.3.3.high_sierra. Already downloaded: /Users/vija/Library/Caches/Homebrew/downloads/eeb066071ee951d9d6d73d9df42678ead1f37f52cb769b884d8a69cf1eecd66f--openblas-0.3.3.high_sierra.bottle.tar.gz ==> Pouring openblas-0.3.3.high_sierra.bottle.tar.gz ==> Caveats openblas is keg-only, which means it was not symlinked into /usr/local, because macOS provides BLAS and LAPACK in the Accelerate framework. For compilers to find openblas you may need to set: export LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/opt/openblas/lib" export CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/local/opt/openblas/include" For pkg-config to find openblas you may need to set: export PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/usr/local/opt/openblas/lib/pkgconfig" ==> Summary 🍺 /usr/local/Cellar/openblas/0.3.3: 21 files, 115.5MB ``` And I get this error. ``` $ ln -sf /usr/local/opt/openblas/lib/libopenblasp-r0.3.* /usr/local/opt/openblas/lib/libopenblasp-r0.3.1.dylib ln: /usr/local/opt/openblas/lib/libopenblasp-r0.3.1.dylib: No such file or directory ``` I think there is a file I miss. Becuase I don't specify the version of `openblas`. I am still working on it.
