The reason being I'm able to detect this issue is due to I've upgraded from 1.0.1 version directly to 1.3.0. I understand that it is a huge jump, but I didn't expect to experience such a huge drop in performance. Update: I've discovered that 1.3.0b20180815 has no performance issue. It should be somewhere in between 1.3.0b20180815 and 1.3.0 that's broken.
