 Review comment:
   I prefer that the argument is a structure.
   e.g.
   ```c++
   struct MXNetIdentity {
     int magic_number; // we will update the magic_number if we update the 
structure
     int version; // `version` is the second element of the structure, and the 
offset is 32 bits.
     ...
   };
   ```
   
   ```c++
   int initialize(struct MXNetIdentity* id) {
     if (id->magic_number == 123) {
       int version = id->version;
       ...
     } else {
       ...
     }
   }
   ```
   
   In this way, we can check the version firstly, then check other attributions.
