Christian Lenz created NETBEANS-562:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Create a separated dialog for the refactoring actions
                 Key: NETBEANS-562
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-562
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: New Feature
Components: editor - Refactoring, groovy - Refactoring, java -
Refactoring, javascript - Refactoring, php - Refactoring, web - Refactoring
    Affects Versions: Next
            Reporter: Christian Lenz

The refactoring actions are all inside the context menu in a subMenuItem. It
would be better to separate them completely from the context menu and create a
new dialog only for the refactoring. That makes the UX more handy. You can have
a shortcut for it and it opens immediately w/o using the right click and search
for refactoring and go the action what you want.

It should be possible to search inside such a dialog while typing.
