cwbc created NETBEANS-1336: ------------------------------ Summary: Netbeans freezes on startup Key: NETBEANS-1336 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1336 Project: NetBeans Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: 8.2 Environment: Windows 10 Reporter: cwbc
I am unable to use netbeans at all at work anymore. It gets beyond the "loading modules" bars, but as soon as it gets to the startup screen, it completely freezes and I can't click on anything, or even close it, I have to end the process. I have looked in the messages log file, and it stops at the lines: INFO [org.netbeans.core.network.proxy.NetworkProxyReloader]: System network proxy TEST - http host: smoothwall.localnetwork.local INFO [org.netbeans.core.network.proxy.NetworkProxyReloader]: System network proxy TEST - http port: 8080 I thought it might be because I am using vagrant and had forwarded my guest port 80 to host port 8080, but I have stopped the virtual machine and am still getting the issue. Is it likely to be related to a firewall issue instead? I have tried updating to the latest JDK (11) and it had no effect. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists
