All of Apache NetBeans is in the incubator right now, but I guess I understand
you now: so far Apache NetBeans has not yet been released with Java EE/Jakarta
EE included. Yes, that's still in process. So, you're right, to the extent that
parts of NetBeans have not been released yet. Many people are working to make
that happen right now, will you join in? It's scheduled to be released with the
next release of Apache NetBeans, i.e., after Apache NetBeans 11 (scheduled to
be released in November this year) there'll be Apache NetBeans 12 (scheduled
for first quarter next year), which will include the features you're currently
missing (though of course you can simply use the 8.2 plugins in Apache NetBeans
9 and 10.
I must add that the extent to which you're actively involved in making things
happen is going to increasingly equal the extent to which you're able to
complain about them not happening. :-)
