NetBeans has been open source since about the year 2000. :-) The difference is
that now it is open source AND at Apache. So, it is both open source and open
governance. Anyway, this is the wrong place to discuss the meaning of open
source. :-) And, indeed, NetBeans has always been about much more than just
Java. Again, this is the wrong place to discuss this.
