The ampersand in the searchurl (*&search*) option needs to be escaped. The
workaround for NetBeans 8.2 on OS X is to edit
{code:java}
/Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans
8.2.app/Contents/Resources/NetBeans/etc/netbeans.conf{code}
adding the option
{code:java}
-J-Dnetbeans.cdnjs.searchurl=https://api.cdnjs.com/libraries?fields=description,homepage,assets\&search={code}
to *netbeans_default_options*
