Laszlo Kishalmi resolved NETBEANS-2563.
---------------------------------------
Resolution: Information Provided
Normally the dependencies are not checked thoroughly when you save the gradle
project in order to have a better performance.
However it is possible to force that by setting:
Tools > Options > Java > Gradle > Dependencies > Download Dependencies on
Project > Always
> Gradle - download new dependencies immediately
> ----------------------------------------------
>
> Key: NETBEANS-2563
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-2563
> Project: NetBeans
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: gradle
> Affects Versions: 11.0
> Reporter: Michael D Billman
> Priority: Minor
>
> I have noticed with the new gradle functionality that if i modify me
> dependencies to add a new dependency or update the version of a dependency,
> that i see the yellow triangle and "unable to resolve" message until i
> actually perform a build - at that point, then i see the message that it is
> downloading the file and the issue goes away. it would be nice if when the
> project refreshes from changing the dependency file, it also downloaded the
> new dependency.
