Arne Styve commented on NETBEANS-2545:
--------------------------------------
Hi Geertjan :) I'm using JDK 8 mainly. An update to the issue: if I change
focus outside of Netbeans and then return to Netbeans, the cursor and
keyboard-input is OK.
Tested again today, no on my iMac at home, and on Netbeans 11 the problem
cannot be re-produced. On Netbeans 8 however, I still have this problem. Will
check Netbeans 11 on my work-mac (MacBookPro) when I get into my office
tomorrow...
> When inserting code (from Source-menu) Netbeans does not accept input from

> Affects Versions: 11.0
> Environment: MacOSX 10.14.4
> Reporter: Arne Styve
> Priority: Major
>
> When using the menue "Source->Insert Code" to for example insert a
> constructor or getters/setters, after insertion of the code, the Netbeans
> editor does not accept input from the keyboard for up to 2-3 minutes. Using
> the mouse works fine (for setting focus etc), but the cursor is not visible,
> and no input from the keyboard is being handled by the IDE.
