Gustavo Almeida commented on NETBEANS-1467:
-------------------------------------------
I use Windows 7, NB 11 and openjdk 12.0.1, and javadoc popup never shows for
any class or method. I always get "cannot perform javadoc in here".
Strangely, if I enable de "Javadoc" window by assigning a shortcut to the
action "Javadoc Documentation" I can see the javadocs. Of course it's not the
same thing, because in this window I can't click to open in the browser.
> javadoc not shown on standard types in editor.

> Priority: Major
>
> I am used to invoke javadoc in a browser through the editor, by right-click
> on ee.g. the type or method and then choose show javadoc. NB 8.2 would
> typically open browser, nb10 only says
> Cannot perform show javadoc here. However, selecting a package from the jdk
> (11), shows javadoc in a browser, using the internal server.
