> Is NetBeans Git missing something? Can you create enhancement requests so we
> can work on that?

I already did it ;)
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-428
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-512
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-561

So great to hear that you will work on that :)

*Off-topic*
I'm tired of that discussion that you try always to figure out that a specific
workflow is the problem of all and not smth inside of NetBeans. NetBeans scans
for external changes. Why? Because it does, if there is smth external, it scans
for it. If there is smth broken that maybe caused of an external change then it
is not the problem of the workflow. And how long should we wait for those
missing features? Tickets are still there since ages (not only stuff that I
requested) and still missing and not implemented etc. A lot of people are
complaining in there tickets again and again. Yes, maybe they don't understand
what open source means but often as I said, a lot of people are only users of
NetBeans, not contributors.

> Very often Netbeans would start consuming high CPU resources for the job of
> Checking for external changes, which sits in suspended status. If you click
> on the cross and manually cancel that job, the CPU will keep being consumed.
> The only way to stop this is to completely close Netbeans. Upon closing, it
> will say that it is still checking for external changes.
