Arie Verhoeven commented on NETBEANS-3228:

Today the issue has been solved (see attachments for call hierarchy of same
method in Netbeans 8.2 and Netbeans 11.1). Yesterday, the call hierarchy of
same method was empty in Netbeans 11.1. Probably this was due to problems in
the background scan.

> Bug in java call hierarchy Netbeans 11.1
> ----------------------------------------
> Key: NETBEANS-3228
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-3228
> Project: NetBeans
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 11.1
> Environment: My Windows 7 laptop
> Reporter: Arie Verhoeven
> Priority: Minor
> Labels: Call, hierarchy
> Attachments: callHierarchy11.1.PNG, callHierarchy8.2.PNG
> It appears that the Call Hierarchy of Netbeans 11.1 (Apache) has some bugs.
> The call hierarchy doesn't show all methods that are calling this method
> (indirectly). This can be verified because this method doesn't have usages in
> the call hierarchy (also no plus sign), while this method still has some
> usages (can be found by usages option). One should expect that the usages of
> a method also can be found at this method in the call hierarchy.
