Michael Hillman commented on NETBEANS-3457:
-------------------------------------------

My netbeans.conf file currently lists the JDK home as "C:\Program
Files\Java\jdk-11.0.2" (which is the correct location of the Java
installation). This is the same value used for the JAVA_HOME environment
variable.

I also have "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.0.2\bin" on the system PATH so that I
can use 'java' from CMD.

> Launching the NetBeans IDE (v11.0) correctly starts the associated process
> (and acquires the expected amount of memory, ~400MB) but shows no UI
> components.
> Note that the splash screen correctly displays but the IDE window does not
> appear afterwards. No warning or error messages are shown.
> Output from the '--trace' command attached.
