Aleksei Tepljakov commented on NETBEANS-3446: --------------------------------------------- I second this. Same issue, also while editing a JS file while using Netbeans 11.2 (latest) running on Windows 7 x64. Also, in terms of config changes, I turned off background scanning of projects (Options->Misc->Files->Enable auto-scanning of sources = Off) because this was also causing issues. NB! This bug does not seem to occur in Netbeans 11.1 which I installed in the hope that I could continue working on the project and turning background scanning of files on or off does not affect this. Attached log part with exception info just in case. [^nullptr_exception.txt] > Can't enter new line in js file > ------------------------------- > > Key: NETBEANS-3446 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-3446 > Project: NetBeans > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 11.2 > Reporter: Mark Stanton > Priority: Major > Labels: newbie > Attachments: IDELog.txt, UILog.txt, addAndDeleteItems.js, > nullptr_exception.txt > > > Pressing carriage return (or "Enter") when editing a js file fails to produce > a newline and causes an error which shows in the notifications window. > i'm quite prepared to believe it is due to a fault of my own, but the code > runs without error so I'm not clear what that would be. > This appears to be a regression since the same action in the same file does > not cause a problem using NB 11.0. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists
