Laszlo Kishalmi closed NETBEANS-3372.
-------------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Do

We might got a green light from the legal, but deciding which JDK shall we
bundle is another hassle. It's probably better to not deal with it inside
Apache.

> Make the Snap package contain an JDK as well

> Well, this issue is dependent on the outcome of LEGAL-488
> It would be good to package a version of Java laong the netbeans Snap
> package. Most of the reviews says that this package is crap as it does not
> start. Which is most probably due to no JDK were installed on the system. It
> seems just a few people reads that it is required, the rest of them expect
> that the package runs out of the box after installing it. Which is usually
> the Snap and Linux experience.
> This change shall not go into the netbeans-dev package which userbase is ~10
> people and they shall be advanced users sometimes using different JDK
> versions.
> The chosen JDK to be delivered would be the Adopt OpenJDK community built LTS
> OpenJDK for arm64 with Hotspot compiler.
