Same issue for me when running tests using maven-surefire-plugin 2.19.0 or
above (2.18.1 still works). This was supposedly fixed in
https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=257563 , but it still does not
work for me as of NetBeans 11.3. (I confirmed that the patch for 257563 is
present in the NetBeans 11.3 source repo.)
