Sean Carrick created NETBEANS-4125:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Duplex Printing in NetBeans IDE
Key: NETBEANS-4125
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4125
Project: NetBeans
Issue Type: Bug
Components: platform - Other
Affects Versions: 11.3
Environment: Ubuntu Linux 18.04.4 LTS x86_64 @ 1.60 GHz x 8
Intel Core i5-8265
8.00 GiB RAM
Linux Kernel 5.3.0-45-generic
Gnome 3.28.2
Reporter: Sean Carrick
Fix For: Next
One-sided printing when the Duplex print option is selected for Java source
code files.
When printing my Java code file from the File/Print menu, I selected the
2-sided Duplex option prior to sending the job to the printer. However, the
print job came out printed on only 1 side.
Steps taken:
# Checked all options in NetBeans, only found the Duplex option on the Print
Dialog
# Selected Appearance tab on the Print Dialog
# Selected Duplex option button on the Appearance tab
# Clicked Print button
# Received one-sided print job
Using Brother MFC-L2710DW laser printer with proprietary drivers installed.
Print duplex jobs from all other applications that I use with no problems, so
it is not on the printer end.
Perhaps there is an option I am missing somewhere that would allow us to use
the system print dialog from within NetBeans?
