Walter Kruse commented on NETBEANS-2438: ---------------------------------------- [~hectorespert] I literally use it like the test case I described above. I develop stand-alone scripts for test automation. So I don't have enterprise app building. The way it works in that case is run by Ant when I press Shift +F6 using Geertjan's Pure Groovy Project plugin. The way the script uses Grab is with Ivy which leverages off Maven if I understand correctly. > Groovy project > -------------- > > Key: NETBEANS-2438 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-2438 > Project: NetBeans > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: apisupport - Project > Affects Versions: 11.0 > Reporter: Walter Kruse > Priority: Major > Fix For: 12.0 > > > As a test automator using Groovy scripting, when I create a new project I > want to be able to: > -create a Groovy project (with or without Maven/Ivy) > -that will be able to run a classless script > -execute @Grab statements to collect jars upon executing > Test case: > {{groovy.grape.Grape.grab(group:'org.apache.commons', module:'commons-lang3', > version:'3.3.2'}} > {{def s = "A silly string with words"}} > {{assert org.apache.commons.lang3.text.WordUtils.capitalizeFully(s) == 'A > Silly String With Words'}} > or: > {{@Grab(group='org.apache.commons', module='commons-lang3', version='3.3.2')}} > {{def s = "A silly string with words"}} > {{assert org.apache.commons.lang3.text.WordUtils.capitalizeFully(s) == 'A > Silly String With Words'}} > At the moment I am using [~GeertjanWielenga]'s Pure Groovy Project from > [http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/49928/pure-groovy-project] > > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists
