It's mainly my fault that FreeMarker got updated. I had two motivation. One is
that I needed it for one of my upcoming changes, which eventually has not been
completed for 12.0. The other reason is FreeMarker become Apache project over
the last few years, so the license has been changed.
Now I'm sorry about introducing that change. We can revert that change though,
however the attached PR fixes this issue.
