Jan Tack commented on NETBEANS-4588:
------------------------------------

Hi David, I'm not sure if this helps, but I also had problems to clone a git
repository with the NetBeans wizard but those problems disappeared on the next
day, probably because of reboot Windows or restarting NetBeans or because i
made something wrong. It also seems that NetBeans does not support any
abbreviation you might have defined in the .ssh/config-file So you got to use
the long form "[email protected]/..." here. That might explain why the git clone
command did work from the command line but not in the wizard.

> I get an "Incorrect credentials for repository..." when attempting to use the
> Teams->Git->Clone wizard using an SSH key which works correctly from Git
> Bash, Cygwin and even from the terminal plugin within Netbeans. Please see my
> StackOverflow question:
> This issue just never seems to go away completely. I don't want to use an SSH
> tunnel. I'm trying to get away from using password over HTTP, and I don't
> enjoy grubbing around in the command line, so I would really like to get this
> working from within the IDE.
