I keep getting a
" Unable to connect to the NetBeans Distribution because of Zero sized file
reported at
http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/8.0.2/uc/final/distribution/catalog.xml.gz?unique=NB_EXTIDE_JAVA0bb385070-60b4-4c2c-9717-dc69c2badd43_c44914d9-a017-44c1-ae24-1018907450f3";
error whenever I check for new plugins. I wanted to create a new Maven web
application but I need the Java EE plugin to do so.
I tried :-
Turning off Windows Firewall
Adding NetBeans.exe to Allowed applications list in Windows Firewall menu
Changing proxy settings to system default
Re-installing NetBeans
Downloading the plugin manually (i get a connection is reset error on every
plugins.netbeans link)
Using a different PC
All of them and still no hope...I'd really appreciate if someone can shine some
light onto this frustrating situation..thanks in advance.
