Clearing the cache does not change a thing. I cleared it together with var/log,
opened the NB and my project from my previous comment and did the same (opening
source of MessageDigest, closing the tab and switching back to
DigestUtils.java) - no changes in the code were made and after repeating this a
few times, NB freezed again. var/log contains only three files: messages.log,
uigestures and "uigestures.1".
I'm quite sure in can reproduce it again using simple code changes.
I had uninstalled nb-javac in the past (please see my comment from 7/6/21) but
re-installed it because some features do not work without it (see Diegos
comment from 8/6/21).
