Stefan Diamond created NETBEANS-6158:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Git showing modified files when they are not
                 Key: NETBEANS-6158
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-6158
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: versioncontrol - Git
    Affects Versions: 12.5
         Environment: Netbeans 12.5

Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1
            Reporter: Stefan Diamond
             Fix For: 12.0

I have a bug on a Java Free Form Project using GIT as a remote repository and
it shows some files have been modified. I have tried reverting modifications
and doing a hard reset but the files still show modified. When looking at git
-> show changes it will display all the files but once clicked on the files it
has 0/0 changes.

This may be an issue with files being modified on Linux and Windows but I have
put in a global configuration to stop this and it is weird how it works on 12.0
but not 12.5 when opening the same project.
