Currently it seems most browsers display the shell script rather than
downloading it.
Perhaps the download server could be updated to treat .sh files as non-text?
This could be perhaps be done via a .htaccess file?
If not, perhaps ask Infra.
Alternatively, perhaps consider using a different extension that will be
downloaded.
In the meantime it might help to provide instructions on the download page as
to how to ensure the file is downloaded rather than displayed.
The other installers download OK, so it is a pity that the Linux one behaves
differently.
