Same problem here. Like suggested on the internet I tried a lot permutations of:
At {{{}netbeans-12.6/etc/netbeans.conf{}}}:
* {{-J-Dsun.java2d.dpiaware=true}} and {{-J-Dsun.java2d.dpiaware=false}}
* {{-J-Dsun.java2d.uiScale=0.5}}
* {{-J-Dsun.java2d.uiScale.enabled=true}} and \{{
-J-Dsun.java2d.uiScale.enabled=false}}
* {{--fontsize 8}}
Environment:
* {{GDK_SCALE=0.5}}
* {{{}GDK_DPI_SCALE=0.5{}}}{{{{}}{}}}
But with no convincing result.

{{openjdk version "11.0.13" 2021-10-19}}
