I would say that a PutTCP would make total sense but I'm not sure to what point
a PutUDP would be a hard requirement. Scenarios like using NiFi to channel data
to legacy Syslog based systems like Arcsight or Splunk would work perfectly
well with a TCP Output.
Frequently people want to be able to have non blocking ingestion mechanisms to
end point (e.g. UDP syslog fire and forget approach) but I confess struggle to
imagine why would someone want to mix a loss tolerant pipeline with a fire and
forget UDP output.
