Latest patch should be good to review now. It refactors how the TCP listener
works, and fixes that re-queue problem that [~tkurc] mentioned in a previous
comment.
I'm also attaching a template I was using to test the processors. I was using
NiFi to create a full loop... PutSyslog sending to rsyslog over TCP on port
514, and rsyslog forwarding to localhost 7087, with the ListenSyslog processor
listening on 7087. Also tested against the syslogd installation that comes on
OSX.
