We have a contributor's guide which covers some of the development and review
process but does not go in-depth with the typical procedures to merge code into
the codebase. This is especially important on the incorporation of Github PRs
as the process is not as direct.
At minimum we should highlight:
- Taking a patch supplied to a JIRA issue
- Taking a code from PR whether by:
-- using the Github .patch URL, or
-- adding the NiFi mirror as a remote with PRs
