i share your view Mike. There is a short polling option with a timeout. That
I think is a great approach where default behavior is what you mention and the
user can configure short polling based on some timed interval. Adam thanks for
entering the JIRA. Would you like to provide a PR for it or would you like to
see someone else snag this?
