Russell Whitaker commented on NIFI-840:
---------------------------------------
So, the v0.4.1 distribution bundles FetchS3Object, but there's no ListS3* to
feed it, necessitating painful gymnastics to work around (since FetchS3Object
does require an upstream processor.) Putting aside the issue of why
FetchS3Object would be released without an intuitively obvious upstream ListS3
counterpart as part of a distribution, can anyone speak to the likelihood of
when we might see the ListS3 counterpart, or suggest a workaround?

> A processor is needed that can provide an S3 listing to use in conjunction
> with FetchS3Object. This is to provide a similar user experience as with the
> HDFS processors that perform List/Get.
