Update for all. Had an update from Andy last night during the height of Jira
non responsiveness. He has kerberos authentication working through the rest
api provided the tickets are obtained by the user going through the
username/password login. Work continues to move to sharing the credentials the
user may already have but we have a good start/foundation in place.
