-------------------------------

I just moved the ticket it duplicates as a goal for 0.7.

Thanks

> Change of Processor name in code will stop Nifi from starting

> Key: NIFI-1653
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-1653
> Project: Apache NiFi
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Core UI
> Affects Versions: 0.5.1
> Reporter: Uwe Geercken
> Labels: nar, processor
>
> A processor has a defined class name in the nar package. When this name is
> changed and the processor exist in the current flow, then nifi will not start
> but throw an exception.
> Instead of throwing an exception and shutting down Nifi the application
> should remove the invalid/not existing processor from the flow instead and
> start nifi as usual.
