Josh Elser commented on NIFI-1712:

bq. Hope this is not beating the same drum:
No no, not at all. This is really good information.

I have 2 realms configured in the krb5.conf, one for the HDP.SUPERGRP.NET realm
where we define all out HDP services and one for our active directory domain
SUPERGRP.NET
The HDF servers are joined to the active directory domain and use sssd to
provide login for domain users, the HDP servers only have one realm configured,
HDP.SUPERGRP.NET
{quote}
To be honest with you, I'm nearing the limit of my understanding of multi-realm
setups. Can you share your /etc/krb5.conf? Also, can you try to set the Java
system property in NiFi {{-Dsun.security.krb5.debug=true}} and re-run your
original steps that showed the ZooKeeper login failure? All I really can say at
this point is that you did successfully log in as [email protected] but
then initiating an RPC to ZooKeeper failed because it couldn't get (valid)
credentials from the ZooKeeper server. Hopefully the additional debug logging
from that system property will shed some light on the situation.
