Quick note on the overall process;
1. When submitting PR make sure your commit message includes the JIRA number
(case sensitive). Basically in your case it does but 'nifi' is lower case. The
reason why this is important is because of the integration between JIRA and
GitHub where if spelled correctly the PR would be automatically added to the
corresponding JIRA (see NIFI-1701 as an example).
2. When issuing PR make sure to click on "Submit Patch" button up above and
then "OK". I know it may seem strange since you are not submitting any patches
(rather PR), but it will simply update the status of this JIRA to "Patch
Available". Easier to track what's on the queue.
