[[email protected]] For the most recent case you mention that is
what the 'replace' option is for. I reviewed the PR again and in my view the
use cases you've outline are well served now by using PutHDFS w/FAILURE and
UpdateAttribute to rename on failures or PutHDFS with replace. If you agree
this will address the needs please advise and PR230 and JIRA NIFI-1045 can be
marked as addressed by flow configuration.
