After a MiNiFi instance reports it's provenance data back to a Core NiFi
instance it more than likely no longer needs to keep the data locally. There
should be the configuration option (potentially in the ProvenanceReportingTask)
to delete the data after successfully reporting it.
This would take a major rewrite since the Provenance Repo only supports purging
of provenance events for age off and space limits.
